Downwind Crew ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Downwind Crew mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you create an account, we collect your email address. Your email is used for authentication, account recovery, and sending run invitations. We do not display your email address to other paddlers.
Information We Collect — Profile
You may provide the following profile information, which is visible to other paddlers:
• Display name
• Profile photo
• Home waters / usual paddling area
• Primary and additional craft types
• Pace rating and experience level
• Short biography
• Favorite routes
Information We Collect — Availability
When you post availability, we store:
• Date and time window or general time of day
• Craft type and pace preference
• Preferred routes or "any route" preference
• Driving availability and transportation notes
• General notes
Information We Collect — Runs
When you schedule or join a run, we record session details including route, start times, transport plans, and the list of participants. If you use our tracking features, we may collect GPS location data during the activity to provide safety monitoring and route logging for your crew members.
Data Usage & Sharing
We use your data to facilitate paddling logistics and maintain app safety. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your profile and run details are shared only with the Downwind Crew community through the App interface.
